Guns N' Roses will take the stage of Detroit's Ford Field tonight for the first show of the rock legends' first tour in more than 20 years to feature original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan.
The Not in This Lifetime Tour's closest stop to Cayuga County will be Saturday, July 23, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Can't make it? Then why not relive Guns N' Roses' last area performance by watching this not-bad, recently surfaced bootleg video of the band's Aug. 9, 1988 concert at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport?
Songs on the 20-minute video include "Rocket Queen," "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Used to Love Her."
And hey! The notoriously grumpy Axl is even in a good mood, introducing his bandmates with some fun banter before Slash tells the crowd, "This is one f--king, f--king gnarly motherf--king crowd, man!"

The video does contain one classic Axl moment, though, as the singer calls for security to remove an audience member during "Rocket Queen."
Aerosmith would take the stage afterward.
