Syracuse rockers Jam Factor will celebrate the release of debut CD "Devil's Ride" with a party and concert Friday at in Auburn.
The band, which plays semi-regularly in Auburn, consists of local music scene veterans Bill Rose on guitar and vocals, Tim Frasier on keyboards and vocals, Matt Krell on bass and vocals, and Vince Nalli on drums and vocals. It recorded "Devil's Ride" at MoleTrax Studio in Syracuse.
The album features eight original songs, as well as instrumental covers of "Outa-Space" and "The Chicken." The band's repertoire samples favorites by Phish, The Grateful Dead, Talking Heads and more.
The performance takes place from 9:30 p.m. to midnight Friday, Dec. 4, at Prison City Pub & Brewery, 28 State St., Auburn.
