Skaneateles football held Southern Hills scoreless in the second and third quarter on Friday in its 41-14 victory on the road.
Quarterback Hugh Carrol completed 13 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown, while rushing four times for 90 yards and a score.
Landen Brunelle ran two times for 80 yards and a score. Colin Henry reached the end zone twice and Graham Bradley rushed for a touchdown on a 50-yard carry. Braydon Mayer caught three passes for 29 yards and a score, while Luke Bruna totaled 56 yards on three receptions.聽
Logan Luke led the defense with a team-high 10 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. Colton McDonald had a team-high two sacks to go along with seven tackles.
Sitting at 5-1, the Lakers are back on the gridiron Friday when they host Solvay.

Tupper Lake 34, Weedsport 14: Trevor Moon rushed 16 times for 94 yards and a 21-yard touchdown in the Wolverines' loss on Friday at home. Moon also caught six passes for 77 yards, while leading the defense with 11 tackles (and eight assists). Quarterback Mason Kochur took 14 carries for 44 yards and a 2-yard score, and coupled that with 89 passing yards. Lincoln Vincent was second on the team in tackles with five.

After the victory, head coach聽Chris Davison noted that he and his team still have a lot they want to accomplish.聽鈥淚鈥檓 proud of our team and how hard we鈥檝e worked, but our work isn鈥檛 done yet,鈥 Davison said in a news release. 鈥淲e want to win the regionals and push for the national title.鈥澛燡ake Botterill finished with a hat trick, while Reece Harper scored a pair of goals. Zoie Karcz tallied 21 total points, eight assists and seven digs, while Isabella Jay finished with 18 total points聽鈥 12 coming from serves. Brooke聽Chiaramonte had a team-high 10 assists, and Claire Brown had a team-high 21 digs.
Cato-Meridian 3, Mexico 0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-15): Avani Cole racked up 15 total points and 23 digs on Friday in the Blue Devils' home victory. Caitlin Salmonsen totaled 15 total points as well, while Mckenzie Smith finished with 13 total points and 20 digs. Mackenzie Mahoney ended with 14 total points and one block. Jasmine Kolb led the team with 15 assists to go along with eight digs.
