The Jordan-Elbridge Central School District's $32.6 million capital project proposal was narrowly approved by voters this week.
According to a聽 on the district's website, the proposal passed Tuesday by a vote of 141-133.
Superintendent Jim Froio said in an email to 新加坡多多开奖记录 that the district is grateful to the聽community for approving the proposal.
The project includes renovating the high school's science classrooms, music and band rooms, and gym floor. The school will also receive HVAC improvements, and the elementary school and third floor of the middle school will have air conditioning installed. The front of each building will receive new security systems, and the grass baseball and softball fields outside the junior high will be replaced with turf.

"I am most excited that our kids will be able to enjoy all of these improvements for generations to come at no additional tax impact to our community," Froio said.
The superintendent believes the project's inclusion of turf fields was the cause of the close vote, as such projects "tend to polarize voters."聽
The project will be supported by $4 million in capital reserve funds and bonding covered via state aid over 20 years. It is set to begin in spring 2026, pending state Education Department review.
