Candidates Forum - 10/17/24 - NYS 48th Senate District
On November 5th, voters across the nation get to vote for President, 1/3rd of the the United States Senate and members of the House of Representatives, but, in New York, they also get to vote for all the members of the New York State Legislature, 63 members of the Senate and 150 members of the Assembly.
After the 2020 census, all of Cayuga County was re-districted into single Senate District, the 48th that includes parts of Onondaga County, including the Village of Skaneateles and City of Syracuse.
Today, we bring you the forum for the 48th Senate District.
In the studio is Senator Rachel May, who currently holds the current seat and faces off again Caleb Slater, who is on the Republican Line.
