Cayuga Community College will begin hosting political forums this week, produced by the college's telecom/media department and cosponsored by мÓƶà¶à¿ª½±¼Ç¼.Â
On Thursday, Oct. 17, will be a forum for the 48th New York State Senate District race between Sen. Rachel May and challenger Caleb Slater. It will air at 7 that night and again at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, on Spectrum Channel 12. It will replay at 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19 and 20, on Spectrum Channels 12 and 98 and Verizon Fios Channel 31 from Auburn Regional Media Access.
Followed by the forum on Thursday will be a rebroadcast of five-minute presentations by Cayuga County Family Court judge candidates Steve Buschman and Kristin Garland at 8 p.m.

A forum for the 126th New York State Assembly District race between Assemblyman John Lemondes and challenger Ian Phillips will take place Tuesday, Oct. 22. It will air at 7 that night on Spectrum Channel 12.Â
On Thursday, Oct. 24, there will be an "Inside Government with Guy Cosentino" interview with 22nd Congressional District Rep. Brandon Williams, as his opponent, state Sen. John Mannion, has not agreed to participate on the dates offered for a forum.
Cosentino will moderate the forums, and questions will be asked by мÓƶà¶à¿ª½±¼Ç¼ government reporter Robert Harding.

Walsh, Andrew Zepp of the Finger Lakes Land Trust, Cayuga County Legislature Chair Aileen McNabb-Coleman, Auburn Mayor Jimmy Giannettino, City Councilor Terry Cuddy, Auburn City Manager Jeff Dygert, Auburn Enlarged City School District Superintendent Misty Slavic, Cayuga County Public Health Director Kathleen Cuddy, Cayuga County 911 Coordinator Denise Spingler and Owasco Lake Watershed Management Council Executive Director Dr. Adam Effler.
All programs are recorded at the college by students in the college's telecom/media department. They are streamed live and archived on the department’s YouTube channel, which is accessible by searching for "" on the site. The shows are rebroadcast starting at 10 a.m. Saturdays on the college’s station, WDWN 89.1 FM.
