Auburn boys hockey lost to Skaneateles 7-1 on Tuesday at the Skaneateles Community Center to remain winless on the season at 0-3. Skaneateles, the defending state Division II champion, improved to 3-2.
For the Lakers, Cole Palmer and Sutton Paro each netted two goals. Luke Mizro, Nathaniel Orsen and Kaden Rutledge finished with one goal apiece.
Luke Bobbett led Skaneateles with a game-high four assists, while Henry Badami, Jack Bobbett, Tye Kennedy, Asher Kozub, Deakin Redding, Braedan Taggart, Jackson Tank and Paro tallied one assist apiece.聽
Defending the net, Danny Angelina finished with 11 saves.聽
Noah Testa was responsible for the Maroons' lone unassisted score, while goalie Jonah Young ended with 37 saves.聽
