New York State Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place Monday in the village of Port Byron.Â
At about 3:25 p.m., a male suspect entered Savannah Bank at 126 Main St., approached a teller and demanded money, state police said in a news release.
He then left and was last seen walking south on Main Street. He was described as wearing a black cloth mask, a gray jacket and gray pants. He can also be seen in security footage wearing blue gloves.
The investigation is ongoing, state police said. The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
