The future of the Big Lots store in the Auburn area is uncertain after the discount retailer announced an agreement that will keep some locations open.
In a Dec. 27 news release, the retailer a "strategic transaction" with Gordon Brothers Retail Partners that will preserve the Big Lots brand, hundreds of its stores and thousands of jobs.
Whether the Big Lots in Grant Avenue Plaza in Sennett is one of those stores, however, remains unknown.聽
A public relations representative for Big Lots told 新加坡多多开奖记录 on Thursday that it has not yet been decided which stores will stay open.

Gordon Brothers will facilitate the transfer of Big Lots to other companies, including Variety Wholesalers, which intends to acquire between 200 and 400 of the retailer's locations and operate them under the Big Lots name. The company could also continue to employ Big Lots employees at the stores, according to the news release.聽

The agreement comes weeks after Big Lots announced the failure of another agreement, and preparations of going-out-of-business sales at all of its 963 remaining locations.聽
